本文根据渝汉客运专线现状及客源的情况,从保证“客畅其行”、提高经济效益角度出发,建议开辟“渝汉客运快班”航线。并从现有客运运力、正、快班所需用船数、运行组织、港口航道的适应情况、改造东40型货舱经济效益等五个方面,对开辟“渝汉客运快班”的可行性作了分析,还提出了渝汉客运快班、正班运行时刻表。开辟“渝汉客运快班”,与正班比较,可缩短旅客在途时间2天;年客运量可增加十万左右;每年节约直接费用142.8万元;年节约燃油667吨.年节约燃料费用11.9万元;改货舱为客舱,每年增收154.9万元;年票价收入增加240万元;节约投资费490万元;单船往返航次的航行率提高6.9%,具有显著的经济效益。
