This article was published in the March 2017 issue of Quality World, interviewed by reporter Natasha Cowen during the interview with Takahiko Hikohiko, director of enterprise process innovation and quality assurance at 3M Japan. In his interview, Takahiko Hiko elaborated on 3M’s quality advantage and how he uses neuroscience to turn his team into a pivotal presence within the company. Takahobo Masahiro promoted the entire team by managing psychology and creating a corporate culture that ensures quality meets 3M’s innovative ideas. During the interview, Takashita Hikari introduced the quality status of 3M, the corporate goals for 2017, the importance of team development to 3M, how to train auditors, how to build trust with customers, and innovative business system design.
