中国历史上的“通贡” ,应主要是指周边民族和外国派遣使臣向中国王朝进行“朝贡”、“朝献” ,也包含有中国王朝向这些地区派遣使臣的活动。通贡可以说是经济贸易的一种政治表现形式。本文选取过去学界研究不多的唐朝与南海诸国的通贡关系作一较深入的探讨。首先 ,以八个表的形式 ,将南海诸国至唐朝贡情况 ,朝贡性质和特点 ,作较完整、深入的论述 ;其次 ,对南海诸国贡品及其贸易主要特征进行分析 ;最后 ,论述了唐朝遣使至南海诸国的情况等
The “tribute tribute” in Chinese history mainly refers to the activities of sending messengers from the neighboring ethnic groups and foreign countries to the Chinese dynasty for “tributes” and “sacrifices”, as well as activities by Chinese dynasties to send envoys to these areas.
