我省麦田猪殃殃的发生为害近年来有上升的趋势,包括常州市各地今年3月调查的结果汇总,麦田猪殃殃达到防治指标(暂定每平方尺10株)的面积占调查面积的58.66％,其中有31.81％可能造成严重为害。粗略估计,全省麦田以猪殃殃为主的阔叶草杂为害面积大约在1000万亩左右,猪殃殃已经成为我省麦田主要恶性杂草之一。几年来,省农科院和部分地区农科所对猪殃殃进行了生物学特性、损失率与防治技术的研究;省农林厅也组织部分县植保站进行了防治技术改进的研究和大面积的防治示范与推广
