由敦煌研究院与中国美术馆联合主办的大型展览《盛世和光——敦煌艺术大展》于2008年初在北京中国美术馆隆重开幕。本次展览共选取各朝代代表性洞窟10个复制展出。此外,还有北魏至唐代彩塑复制品10件,大大小小壁画临摹品达120件。本次展览还有一批平常难以见到的珍贵文物参展,包括敦煌研究院藏敦煌写经及社会文书 The grand exhibition “Spirit and Light - Dunhuang Art Exhibition” co-sponsored by Dunhuang Research Institute and China Art Museum was grandly opened at the 2008 China National Art Museum in Beijing. A total of 10 copies of the representative caves of each dynasty were selected for the exhibition.
