On July 7, Dehong Prefecture in Yunnan Province commemorated the 80th anniversary of the All-China Anti-Japanese War and the opening ceremony of the overseas Chinese returned to the Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall in Nanyang. Local people and hundreds of descendants of Nanchong mechanics came back to memorize the forerunners who once fought for the founding of New China in this land by walking along the “last mile” of the Burma’s road.
