In many signal processing applications there is often a set of linear equations to be solved.According tothe signal properties,a property mapping procedure on the data matrix in the system of linear equations wasrecently suggested,so that the effects of noise would be reduced and the accuracy of signal parameterestimation would be improved.A further discussion on the subject is given in this paper and the matrixconvergence under the iterative property mapping is directly proven. Applying this method to spectral line estimation,the specific iterative property mapping algorithm isderived with a sinusoid correlation model.A given numerital example illustrates considerable improvementof high resolution performance.
