Two crabs that can not escape after a gossip Crab fishermen often carry a bamboo basket with a small lid. After catching the first crab, they will cover the lid tightly to prevent the crab from escaping. After catching the second crab, fishermen no longer cover the lid. This is why? Originally when there are two or more crabs, each one are scrambling to go to the exit. However, bamboo basket mouth is very narrow, only allows one crab to pass. So when a crab crawls to the baskets, the rest of the crabs grab it with the same mighty pincers, drag it to the bottom and climb it with another powerful crab. Although the baskets had been open, none of the crabs had been lucky enough to escape the cage.
