本文对《红楼梦》张新之评本中出现的画论品第术语进行了集中探讨。认为此一独特现象渊源于画论品第观念,同时之前的小说“品”评以开启其先声,而在《红楼梦》张新之评本中得到淋漓尽致的展现。在此基础上,以张新之的《红楼梦》“品”评为中心考察了古代小说“品”评演进过程中规律性现象。另外对传统品评形式与古代小说批评之间关系也作有初步思索。
This article focuses on the terminology of painting articles appearing in Zhang Xinzhi’s edition of A Dream of Red Mansions. The author thinks that this unique phenomenon originated from the concept of painting theory, meanwhile his previous novel “品” commentary opened its preconceptions and displayed vividly in Zhang Xinzhi’s critique of A Dream of Red Mansions. On the basis of this, we take Chang Xinzhi’s “Dream of Red Mansions” and “Products” as the center to examine the regularity phenomenon in the process of performance evaluation of ancient novels. In addition, there is also a preliminary reflection on the relationship between the traditional form of criticism and the criticism of ancient novels.
