In “The Sound and the Fury” and “Gone with the Wind”, William Faulkner and Margaret Mitchell characterize the unforgettable images of women with their unique perspectives and brushstrokes. The different characters and life experiences of these female characters also reflect the attitude of the two authors to women. This article attempts to explore the feminist views of the two authors by analyzing the representative female characters in these two works.
