我市机床电气传动设备厂是一个只有500多名职工、595万元固定资产的小型企业。近年来,该厂管理水平和经济效益提高迅速,得到上级领导的肯定和重视。党和国家领导人乔石、姚依林、方毅、宋健、迟海滨等都曾到该厂视察。1987年成为襄樊市会计工作首批达标升级单位之一,1988年又被市人民政府授予会计工作二级单位,1989年初该厂厂内银行和二级核算,内部承包和目标管理,都得到有关部门的赞誉。这些成绩的取得,当然有多方面的原因,但在企业管理机制中,该厂试行由财务科长兼任企业管理办公室主任,不失为一项可以较好地发挥会计管理作用的好办法。
