恩口煤矿区中的大冶灰岩孔斜比较严重。该煤层产于二迭系龙潭组,上部为三迭系下统大冶灰岩,厚度850~950米,可钻性4~5级,岩层呈薄层和极薄层状产出,单层厚0.2~10厘米,层理、节理、裂隙都非常发育,层理面上附着光滑的炭泥质薄膜,岩层倾角20°~88°,小型褶曲发育。由于层薄而硬、脆、软交错,极易造成孔斜。过去施工的钻孔,每百米一般为4°~5°,个别钻孔达6°~10°。为防治孔斜,曾采用合金钻进、钻铤加压、加长岩心管、带扶正器以及初级定向钻进等多种措施,虽不同程度起过一些作用,但一直达不到每百米不超过2°的要求。去年本来安排对深部煤层进行勘探,由于孔斜未能过关,只得暂时停止施工。
