井冈山是江西省吉安市所属的一个县级市.吉安是一个红遍的地方,有13个县市区留下了毛泽东的足迹,中国革命许多重大事件和重大转折都发生在吉安.1957年,成立了井冈山垦殖场,1959年,成立了井冈山管理局,到80年代成立井冈山县、井冈山市.在中国要找一个有13个县市区都有毛泽东足迹的地方是不可能的.当年,吉安出了160多位将军,江西省有325个将军,吉安占了将近一半.
