Americans run for president every four years. According to the U.S. Constitution, any American citizen born in the United States who has acquired U.S. citizenship and is over the age of forty can participate in the presidential election. Obviously, there are many people who wish to be elected presidential candidates (candi-dates). There are many political par-ties in the United States. Most political parties will elect their own presidential candidates. Only two parties are much stronger than other parties. They have been in the position of the oldest brother. This is the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party. The Republican Party. So for more than a hundred years, the people who were elected presidents were either Democrats or Republicans.
