铁荸荠(Cyperus esculentus var.sativus Boeck)原生长在非州和南欧,自古即有种值.其株形似芦苇,有匍匐根茎.根茎肉质为白色,外皮为褐色,长有小块茎.块茎长1～2厘米,干燥时形状不规则,水泡呈圆形或卵圆形.块茎味甜并有杏仁香味,有“土杏仁”之称,在地中海沿岸诸国常用做食品.
Cyperus esculentus var. Sativus Boeck, originally grown in Africa and southern Europe, has a species value since ancient times. The plant shape resembles reeds with a creeping rhizome.The rhizomes are white in color and brown in color with small tubers. ~ 2 cm, irregular shape when dry, blisters were round or oval tuber sweet and almond flavor, “soil almond ”, commonly used in the Mediterranean countries as food.
