近年来,我国推出房地产投资基金的呼声越来越高。通过对其他国家或地区发展房地产投资基金不同模式的比较研究发现,在各方面条件日渐成熟的条件下,作为我国金融创新的一个重要举措,房地产投资基金的推出,必将大大拓宽我国房地产业的融资渠道,丰富我国居民的投资方式,促进房地产业及其他相关行业的发展。但同时应该看到,由于我国法律制度的不健全和专业人才的缺乏,REITs在我国的发展任重而道远。
