Today is the 1st of September. It’s the first day of the new term. All the students are back to school. They are happy to see each other again. Look, Andy and Steven are talking.
Andy: Hello, Steven. Nice to see you again.
Steven: Nice to see you, too.
Andy: Did you have a good holiday this summer?
Steven: Yes. And you?
Andy: Me, too.
Steven: Are you ready for the new term?
Andy: Of course. Let me show you my new stationery. I’ve got a nice pencil box. There are two pens, a pair of compasses, three pencils and a rubber in it.
Steven: Anything else?
Andy: I have a new e-dictionary.
Steven: E-dictionary? Can I have a look?
Andy: OK. Here you are.
Steven: Wow, how cool! I want an e-dictionary like yours. Where did you buy it?
Andy: My uncle bought it in Shanghai.
Listen, the bell is ringing.
Steven: Oh, it’s time for class. Let’s go.
Andy: All right.
