OBJECTIVE: To make the glucose tolerance test (OGTT) more successful for pregnant women with diabetes screening (hereinafter referred to as sugar screening) for good outcome. Through health education, pregnant women to eliminate the fear of glucose tolerance test to understand the purpose of glucose tolerance test, methods, and impaired glucose tolerance of maternal and child health effects, with glucose tolerance test. Methods: 566 pregnant women at 24-28 weeks of gestation during outpatient health check-up were enrolled in this study. Diabetes was screened by 50 g oral glucose load test (GCT). Results: Positive (glucose value ≥ 7.8 mmol / L) were 152 cases, the positive rate of sugar screening was 26.86%. Glucose tolerance test was performed on pregnant women with positive sugar screening. The incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in 24 cases was 4.24%, and the incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) was 15 cases. The incidence rate was 2.65%. 39 patients were health education (including diet control, moderate exercise, rational use of drugs), 5 to 6 weeks after the glucose tolerance test again, of which 24 cases of GIGT in 14 cases were normal; 15 cases of GDM significantly improved in 8 cases . Conclusion: To strengthen regular prenatal care, good health care of maternal and child health and prevention of gestational diabetes related to health guidance, so that pregnant women understand glucose tolerance test screening for early detection of pregnancy-associated diabetes, early diagnosis and early treatment Importance, early measures to promote maternal and child health.
