《MMWR》1985;34(25):373。
MMWR 1985; 34 (25): 373. A disease first described in the summer of 1981, now recalled, is a manifestation of AIDS. For the first time in MMWR’s September 1982 issue, the definition of AIDS cases reported to the state was published. This definition has been slightly revised since then in the list of diseases used to indicate potential cellular immune deficiency. Since the definition was published in 1982, human T-lymphotropic virus type III / lymphotrophic virus (HTLV-III / LAV) has been identified as the cause of AIDS. The clinical manifestations of HTLV-III / LAV infection can be directly secondary to the immunocompromised disorder caused by the infection or latent infection of the virus
