本文将重庆阳戏和福泉阳戏之基本内涵、历史渊源、演出坛班、艺术形态、程序结构、剧目剧本、表演艺术、声腔器乐、舞美造型、崇奉神灵共十项内容,逐一作了对比列述。叙写时,在尽量精练的前提下,详重庆阳戏,略福泉阳戏,以有限的篇幅展示了两地阳戏的概貌。在此基础上,论述了阳戏在广大民众社会生活特别是民族心理结构和传统戏剧文化中曾经产生的重要作用,并提出了系统、综合、深化阳戏理论研究,进一步推进阳戏保护、传承的建议。
