该文报道KTP／YAG激光经尿道前列腺切除术治疗老年前列腺增生并糖尿病23例，平均年龄72．8岁。通过手术前后测剩余尿、尿流率的改变及经直肠B超观察前列腺残腔的变化，术后随访15-356d，有效率达100％。结果表明手术成功的关键是血糖的控制和防止并发症发生。
This article reports KTP / YAG laser transurethral resection of prostate in the treatment of 23 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia and diabetes, with an average age of 72.8 years. The residual urine and urinary flow rate were measured before and after surgery, and the changes of residual prostate cavity were observed by transrectal B-ultrasound. The follow-up was 15-356 days after operation, and the effective rate was 100%. The results show that the key to the success of surgery is the control of blood glucose and prevent complications.
