Five months after the out-break of the COVID-19 epidemic, China has taken numerous measures to curb the spread of the virus while also ensuring that economic sta-bility is maintained. Africa, on the other hand, is still in the process of containing the spread within its borders, and different mea-sures taken by govments have yielded mixed results.
