石棉与石棉肺、胸膜斑、肺癌和恶性间皮瘤等疾病密切相关,其致病机制尚未完全阐明。石棉纤维可诱导活性氧(ROS)的产生,ROS的堆积或抗氧化物的缺乏均可使机体内氧化-抗氧化系统失衡,导致细胞发生脂质过氧化、蛋白质变性、DNA损伤和酶活性改变等一系列的氧化应激损伤,是石棉的致病机制之一。对ROS的生成及其致机体氧化应激损伤分子机制的深入研究,可能为石棉暴露相关性疾病的预防、诊断和治疗提供思路。
