Britain’s coastal tourism began in the early 2000s. By the 1950s, tourism in the seaside began to thrive each summer as crowds of people cling to the waterfront. Due to the increase of people’s income and the needs of the market, some big coastal tourist cities such as Blackpool and Brighton are gradually formed. Due to the low prices, working-class affordability, this stage is called the “golden decade.” 60. In the 1970s, due to lack of investment in coastal tourism, combined with outdated facilities and aging facilities, overseas holidays were cheaper and exotic landscapes were exacerbated. Some people were diverted from the British seaboard to the Mediterranean coast and the domestic tourists decreased significantly. The economic recession of the 1970s was also responsible for the travel of British tourists to the Mediterranean coast. In the late 1950s, the Spanish government encouraged the construction of a large number of hotels, hotels, most guesthouses and hotels with their own swimming pools, bars, fine restaurants and guest rooms in order to promote the development of tourism and increase employment opportunities. By 1995, it had reached 20 million beds, a huge undertaking for a small country with an area of 500,000 km2 and a population of 40 million. Correspondingly, traffic and communications facilities have been improved and aircraft fares have been reduced. Coupled with Spain’s low labor cost and low taxation rates, the price of its guesthouses, catering and tourism services in Europe are very cheap, thus attracting Tourists from all over the country flocked in. In 1990 Spain received 52 million overseas tourists, including 6.29 million tourists from Britain. From 1960 to 1990, the tourist arrivals from Britain to Spain increased.
