《水浒转》作为一部描写农民起义的长篇小说无疑是成就卓著的,对众多的梁山泊英雄好汉形象的塑造也可谓是血肉丰满、色彩鲜明。然而,这并不代表作者在创造一个男性王国的同时也具有主动创造一个有内容有活力有健康制度与正常体制的女性天地的意识,由于主观和客观的种种限制与约束,作者在对小说中女性的形象的塑造上处处透露出他或者更准确地说是他那个时代男尊女卑、男主女附的落后思想。这些造成了这部已是够精彩的小说难免时断时续地给人以阳刚大炽而阴柔缺损的不协调感觉。
