Background: A rural TB control unit (population 350794) in Pune district, Maharashtra, India. Purpose: To establish a partnership model between rural private practitioners (PMPs) and the revision of the National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP). Design: A partnership between 100 PMPs in the study area and district health and tuberculosis staff members has been established through the coordination of non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Cooperative sharing of research methods in the planning and implementation of partnerships. Quantitative and qualitative research methods are used to evaluate and analyze the generation and implementation of the partnership. Results: During the 5-month period, 30% of the cases detected in the TB control unit were detected by partners. Six months after the evacuation of the NGO, the private physician department directed.
