p16基因及其表达变化与多种人类肿瘤的发生发展相关。本研究在观察42例星形细胞瘤p16蛋白表达的基础上,采用RNA-RNA原位杂交检测星形细胞瘤p16mRNA表达情况。结果显示:Ⅰ、Ⅱ级肿瘤p16mRNA表达水平显著高于Ⅲ~Ⅳ级病例,其与p16蛋白表达水平呈正相关。提示p16的失活或/和低表达极有可能发生在从低级向高级恶性转化的星形细胞瘤进展期中,p16的应用在肿瘤治疗学方面将具有重要意义。
The p16 gene and its expression changes are related to the occurrence and development of various human tumors. In this study, based on the observation of the expression of p16 protein in 42 astrocytomas, the expression of p16 mRNA in astrocytoma was detected by RNA-RNA in situ hybridization. The results showed that the expression levels of p16 mRNA in grade I and grade II tumors were significantly higher than those in grades III-IV, which was positively correlated with the expression level of p16 protein. It is suggested that the inactivation or/and low expression of p16 is most likely to occur in the advanced stages of malignant transformation of astrocytoma from low grade to high grade, and the application of p16 will have important significance in the treatment of tumors.
