最近研究表明,5-羟色胺(5-HT_3)受体可能在诱发恶心过程起作用,它们的药理拮抗剂可拮抗化疗所致的呕吐。肠道神经元含5-HT_3受体,且用5-HT_3阻滞剂后可产生轻度便秘,故调节结肠活动性可能有5-HT_3受体参与。为证实ondansetron(一种抗腹泻作用的选择性5-HT_3阻滞剂)影响健康人结肠通过时间,本文用随机双盲、无效对照交叉法对其进行研究。
Recent studies show that serotonin (5-HT_3) receptors may play a role in the induction of nausea and that their pharmacological antagonists antagonize chemotherapy-induced emesis. Intestinal neurons containing 5-HT_3 receptor, and with 5-HT_3 blockers can produce mild constipation, so regulation of colon activity may have 5-HT_3 receptor involvement. To demonstrate that ondansetron, a selective 5-HT_3 blocker against diarrhea, affects colon transit time in healthy humans, we conducted a randomized, double-blind, null-control crossover study.
