At least in the first half of this century, British traditionalism ruled the musical life in Australia until it was completely changed until recently. At that time, all of our leadership positions at the music school were occupied almost exclusively by the men and women who were called “church organists who have retired from England.” In general, there is little understanding of the main trends in European cultural development. In the 1960s, as a new generation of Australian composers fiercely opposed this domineering style, the situation began to change with unremitting efforts and won many new measures in our musical life. However, it can not be said that an Australian school of music was founded; it does not exist or does not know when it will take shape, since many of our leading composers have many differences in their style and perspective. First of all, it is necessary to find out the various official organizations on music in Australia.
