The treatment of heart failure in paired excitatory pacing in the 1960s was abandoned because of the greater risk of arrhythmia. Multi-site ventricular pacing for the treatment of heart failure is limited to a wide QRS wave patient population, and multi-ventricular pacing does not increase contractility. A new method of cardiac contractility modulation (CCM), a method of enhancing myocardial contractile function by supplying electrical stimuli during the absolute refractory phase of cardiac excitement, has recently drawn much attention. However, the newly started research is in its infancy, and many questions remain unclear. The purpose of this experiment is to observe the effect of absolute refractory electrical stimulation on the heart function of healthy rabbits in vivo and the short-term safety of this method.
