The successful application of “Management By Objectives” (MBO) in the enterprise has attracted the interest of hospital administrators. In the early 1970s, U.S. hospital administrators tried MBO and achieved successful experience. This article describes the application of MBO in hospital management as follows: Objective Management (MBO) Managers are confused about the “target” of MBO. The MBO “target” is the last element of the three elements of management - output. This means that in order to achieve a certain output (goal), a certain amount of information, such as people, finances, and information (such as buying a B-chao, transferred to an old head nurse), is invested.
