1949-1966年的文学畅销书受到当时主流意识形态、多样化社会需求等方面的影响。这一时期的封面设计中,封面画、装饰纹样及作者人物像是较为常见的表现手法,用色较为单纯,构图多居中,文字列于图画的正上或正下方。整体风格简洁,但不够多样化。这一时期印刷、工艺的有限条件与此时较为单纯、简洁的封面设计风格密切相关。
The best-selling literature of 1949-1966 was influenced by the prevailing ideologies of the time and the needs of diverse societies. In this period of cover design, the cover painting, decorative patterns and the author figures are more common expression techniques, the color is more simple, composition and more central, the text listed in the picture just above or below. The overall style is concise, but not diverse enough. During this period of printing, the limited conditions of the craft are more closely related to the simpler and simple cover design style at this time.
