2000年 9月 8日晚 ,北京市公安局缉毒处的一名民警在抓捕贩毒、吸毒犯罪嫌疑人时,手臂被其划伤。在审讯过程中,犯罪嫌疑人有气无力地说了一句:“我有艾滋病。” 受伤的警察和犯罪嫌疑人一起被立即送往医院。后者被证实确系艾滋病病毒感染者。而受伤民警虽经检测与治疗,但还要接受半年的抽血检查,才能最终确认是否感染。 艾滋病离我们并不遥远。 面对“世纪绝症”,我们能做什么? 从源头抓起,严厉打击卖淫嫖娼、吸贩毒活动和非法采血; 加强对戒毒所、收教所等收治收教的高危人群的防病救治和教育工作; 必须懂得预防艾滋病的基本知识,避免危险行为,加强自我保护。
