我室从促进北京市蔬菜生产的愿望出发,广泛应用芽孢杆菌处理各种蔬菜种子,一九七九年以来先后在通县杨庄、海淀东升公社、朝阳高碑公社王四营公社南么房公社、门头沟区门头公社、丰台南苑公社、石景山等多点试验示范(并组织二次现场观摩),大多数能增产10—20%,在根菜类效果更为明显,如胡萝卜、小萝卜之类根菜类表面光滑、质量好,微侵染点减少,又因为芽孢杆菌处理种子的方法简便,成本低。利用芽孢杆菌系培养基内培养48小时同时加以振荡,每毫升含有的菌量为4千万左右。在播种前一天傍晚(或当天)把菌液按种子量1:10的比例均匀拌到萝卜种子上,胡萝卜用的菌液较多比例为1:7,稍稍晾干,即可播
