目的检测乳腺癌组织中Bmi1蛋白的表达,探讨Bmi1蛋白的表达与乳腺癌临床病理特征相关性。方法收集79例乳腺癌组织标本,利用免疫组化的方法检测Bmi1和E-cadherin的表达,分析Bmi1蛋白的表达与乳腺癌临床病理特征和E-cadherin的表达相关性。结果 Bmi1蛋白在乳腺癌中的表达率约31.6%(25/79),Bmi1蛋白高表达与淋巴结的转移呈正相关;Bmi1蛋白的表达与年龄、肿瘤大小、组织学分级无关。E-cadherin的表达率为57.0%(45/79),Bmi1蛋白的表达与E-cadherin的表达呈负相关。结论乳腺癌组织中Bmi1蛋白的表达与乳腺癌的转移有关,有可能成为预测乳腺癌发生上皮间质转化的新分子标记物。
Objective To detect the expression of Bmi1 protein in breast cancer and to explore the relationship between the expression of Bmi1 protein and the clinicopathological features of breast cancer. Methods Totally 79 cases of breast cancer tissues were collected. The expression of Bmi1 and E-cadherin was detected by immunohistochemistry. The relationship between the expression of Bmi1 protein and the clinicopathological features and E-cadherin expression in breast cancer was analyzed. Results The expression of Bmi1 protein in breast cancer was about 31.6% (25/79). The high expression of Bmi1 protein was positively correlated with lymph node metastasis. The expression of Bmi1 protein was not related to age, tumor size and histological grade. The expression of E-cadherin was 57.0% (45/79). The expression of Bmi1 protein was negatively correlated with the expression of E-cadherin. Conclusion The expression of Bmi1 protein in breast cancer is related to the metastasis of breast cancer, which may be a new molecular marker for predicting epithelial-mesenchymal transition in breast cancer.
