通过新植、宿根两年的对比试验，新台糖２０号在本县蔗区从工农艺综合性状均优于粤糖６３／２３７ （主对照）和新台糖１０号（副对照）．表明新台糖２０号是一个早熟高产高糖，宿根性好的优良品种：新台糖１６号和新台糖１５号，各性状也优于主对照粤糖６３／２３７，而较接近副对照新台糖１０号，亦属较优良品种，应扩大试验、示范和逐步推广应用．
Through the comparison experiments of new plantation and rooting for two years, the new comprehensive traits of agro-agronomic traits in Xinzitang No. 20 in this county were better than that of Yueshi 63/237 (main control) and Xintai sugar 10 (the control). The results showed that Xintai 20 was a good variety with early maturity, high yield and high sugar and good rooting ability. Xintai 16 and Xintai 15 showed better performance than the control Yugang 63/237, No. is also a relatively good variety, should expand the test, demonstration and the gradual promotion and application.
