淬透性的测定在热处理生产中有重要的意义。例如在汽车齿轮的生产中,为了保证齿轮关键部位的组织和强度并控制其变形量在允许的级别之内,必须测定每批钢材的淬透性。但是,由于影响淬透性的因素很多,实测数据有很大的分散性;此外,测定原材料的淬透性不仅工作量大、耗费财力、人力、而且周期长,不利于生产管理。上海交通大学研制的《钢的淬透性预测软件》能够快速、准确、方便地预测汽车齿轮常用钢种的端淬曲线,为工厂的淬透性控制提供了可靠的新方法。
Determination of hardenability in heat treatment production has important significance. For example, in the production of automobile gears, the hardenability of each batch of steel has to be determined in order to ensure the organization and strength of the key parts of the gear and to control the amount of deformation within the allowable level. However, due to a large number of factors that affect the hardenability, the measured data have a great dispersion; In addition, the determination of the hardenability of raw materials not only heavy workload, costly financial and manpower, and long cycle, is not conducive to production management. The “Steel Hardenability Prediction Software” developed by Shanghai Jiao Tong University can quickly and accurately predict the end-quenching curve of commonly used steel gears for automotive gear, providing a reliable new method for the control of the hardenability of the plant.
