新疆生产建设兵团第4师66团的闫欣秋是解放初期进疆的老兵,现已87岁高龄。上世纪50年代初他在新疆军区土改工作团做地方建党建政工作,曾连续4年在牧区同哈族牧民同吃同住,并在学习哈维文字语言培训时立了三等功。之后又在伊宁红旗公社6大队支农扶贫8年。他长期同少数民族群众生活工作在一起,还结交了6位有生死之交的民族挚友。2011年他以老兵代表 Yan Xinqiu, a 4th regiment 66 regiment of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, was an veteran who entered Xinjiang in the early days of the liberation and is now 87 years old. In the early 1950s, he worked as a local party and government in the Xinjiang Military Area Land Reform Working Group. He spent the same four years living with herdsmen and herders in the pastoral areas and established third class in learning language training in Harvey language. Later, 6 brigades of Yining Hongqi Commune supported agriculture for eight years. He has worked with the minority people for a long time, and has also made six national close friends who have a life-or-death deal. In 2011 he represented veterans
