In this paper, we studied the ventilatory response and ventilation patterns of large brown dormant bats to hypoxemia and hypercapnia at body temperature of 5, 10, 20, 30 and 37 ℃. The results showed that body temperature below 30 ℃, the phenomenon of the same breathing mode, the performance of rhythmic breathing and sporadic apathetic apnea appear alternately.
