目的:评估马来西亚主要的三个种族群(马来人,中国人和印度人)的视盘参数,并且研究视盘参数和性别、眼内压、眼轴长度之间的关系。方法:本研究包括了122例244眼,均有清晰的眼介质,其中61例为开角型青光眼患者,另外61例为非青光眼个体。使用蔡司FF450Plus眼底照相机对视盘参数和视盘面积进行放大校正测量。三个种族群之间的差异用方差分析检验,而诸如性别、眼内压、眼轴长度这些因素和视盘大小之间的关系通过皮尔森双变量相关分析检验。结果:总体上平均垂直视盘直径为(1.96±0.20)mm,水平视盘直径为(1.84±0.20)mm,视盘面积为(2.84±0.56)mm2。与马来人和中国人相比,印度人有较大的视盘面积。然而,差异没有统计学意义。结论:马来西亚人的视盘面积比高加索人(白种人)大。在马来西亚三个种族群中,印度人视盘面积最大,但是没有统计学意义。
Objectives: To evaluate the optic disc parameters of the three major ethnic groups in Malaysia (Malays, Chinese and Indians) and to study the relationship between optic disc parameters and sex, intraocular pressure, axial length. METHODS: This study included 122 patients (244 eyes) with clear ocular media, of which 61 were open angle glaucoma and the other 61 were non-glaucoma. Using Zeiss FF450Plus fundus camera on the optic disc parameters and optic disc area calibration correction measurements. The differences between the three ethnic groups were tested by analysis of variance (ANOVA), while the relationships between factors such as gender, intraocular pressure, axial length and optic disc size were tested by Pearson’s bivariate correlation analysis. Results: The mean vertical disc diameter was (1.96 ± 0.20) mm, the horizontal disc diameter was (1.84 ± 0.20) mm and the optic disc area was (2.84 ± 0.56) mm2. Indians have a larger disc area than both Malays and Chinese. However, the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion: Malaysians have larger optic disc sizes than Caucasians (whites). Among the three ethnic groups in Malaysia, Indians have the largest optic disc area, but they are not statistically significant.
