一、选择提供丰富的观察材料1.材料的典型性。自然课中观察材料的典型性,是指所观察的对象要能明显地体现该类事物的特征。选择具有典型性、代表性的观察材料,可以使学生较为顺利地发现并掌握其特征,减少教师在教学中的指导难度。象柿子、香蕉等不具有典型代表性的果实材料,最好放在学生掌握了果实的特征后再去研究,这样才符合学生的认识规律。2.材料的丰富性。材料越丰富,越有利于学生自己去发现。如《植物的果实》,如果教师给学生只提供一两种果实材料,学生对果实概念的认识就不会是全面的、深刻的。如果提供的果实具有足够的数量,让学生认真观察比较,这样探寻出来的关于果实的
