Is there any difference between men and women in their intellectual development? This is a theoretical issue that has long been of interest to psychologists and educators all over the world. It is also an urgent problem to be solved urgently in family education and school education. Foreign studies show that there are differences between men and women in the different stages of the development of intelligence and the factors that constitute intelligence. In the 1920s, American psychologist Dr. L. Thorndike’s research showed that women were superior to men in language expression and short-term memory; men in spatial perception-analysis of comprehensive ability and experimental observation, Reasoning and the mastery of historical knowledge are superior to those of women. In recent years, studies by E. Maccoby and C. N. Jacklin, director of psychology department at Stanford University in the United States, have reached similar conclusions .
