1 REGIONAL GEOLOGICAL BACKGROUND The Seishitang polymetallic deposit is located at the confluence of the Qin-Qi-Kun Fold Belt and the Geopark of the Ela Mountain. The complex geological structure of the area experienced multiple stages of tectonic magmatism is an important part of the southeast side of the Mount Al-Cu polymetallic ore belt. The Elaeagian marginal zone was formed in the late Paleozoic, ending in the late Paleozoic, with a composite metamorphic basement composed of Early Precambrian paleo-continental crystalline basement and overlying Early Paleozoic caprock.
