Architecture is an exchange system that has the unique social function of organizing and establishing an interactive space for interaction. Social order depends on the spatial order. The built-in environment evolves spontaneously into a system of fingered meaning, ie symbolic cues (morphological features, colors, textures, environmental parameters, etc.) that make up and shape the built environment that can influence the subject’s behavior patterns. The significance of parametric semiotics lies in that it goes beyond the deliberate process of spontaneous formation in the traditional built environment and establishes a more complex and accurate system of interactions, which means more systematic and more organized and structured exchanges. Agent-based modeling becomes a powerful tool for parametric semiotics. With this tool, the future life processes built by the building will be modeled and evaluated during the design process, ultimately driving design iteration and optimization.
