Schistosomiasis routine liver function tests often due to varying degrees of liver damage caused by varying degrees of liver dysfunction, but it is generally believed that schistosomiasis is not a disorder of glucose metabolism. The authors tested glucose tolerance in patients with schistosomiasis in Sudan. Twenty-one cases of schistosomiasis positive in fecal sepsis with hepatomegaly and without jaundice or other liver diseases, alcohol abuse, malaria or malnutrition were aged 16-65 years. 12 cases of oral glucose tolerance test, 9 cases of intravenous glucose tolerance test, while 10 healthy controls. Results: The fasting blood glucose of schistosomiasis patients and control group were 56-108 mg / 100 ml and 45-102 milliliters, respectively
