每年8月的最后一个星期三，是西班牙一年一度的民间传统节日——西红柿节。在这一天，热情奔放的当地市民和游客涌入街头相互抛掷西红柿，布尼奥尔镇顷刻间淹没在西红柿的红色海洋中。在如此尽情的狂欢中，再多的压力也能尽数释放了吧。
西红柿大战什么时候开始？
When do we get to start the fight?
整个西红柿节是在上午11点到下午1点间进行。
The whole thing happens between 11am and 1pm.
节日的名称就叫西红柿节。
La Tomatina is the name of the festival.
节日在布尼奥尔镇进行，就在巴伦西亚市郊。
It happens in Buñol, just outside of Valencia.
我们可以在巴伦西亚市订到便宜些的房间。
We can get cheaper rooms in Valencia.
西红柿节受累于其自身的成功。
The festival is a 1)victim of its own success.
参加活动的人数超过了布尼奥尔镇人口的三倍。
The population of Buñol more than 2)triples for the festival!
记得提前订好旅馆。
Remember to book accommodations in advance.
我们要不要自带西红柿进场？
Do we need to bring our own tomatoes?
听说有数辆装满西红柿的大卡车在镇中心待命。
They said there are 3)lorries full of tomatoes in the town centre.
大战后我们会满身茄浆。
We’ll probably be a mess after.
谢天谢地那里有公共冲洗的地方。
Thank goodness there are public showers.
我们或许应该带些换洗的衣服。
We should probably bring a change of clothes.
西红柿大战有些规则要遵循。
There are a couple of rules.
第一条规则：尽情狂欢！
Rule number one: Have fun!
你不能携带可能引起事故的物品。
You can’t bring objects that might cause an accident.
不能撕扯衣服。
No tearing clothing.
先碾碎西红柿以免伤到人。
Crush the tomatoes first so they don’t hurt anyone.
尽量不要撞到西红柿卡车。
Try to avoid the tomato lorries.
鞭炮第二次响起时，你就必须停止（扔西红柿）。
When the second 4)banger goes, you must stop.
西红柿节欢迎世界各地的游人参与。
They welcome visitors from around the world.
