丘逢甲(1864—1912年),字仙根,又名仓海,祖籍广东省蕉岭县,生于台湾省苗栗县,是近代史上著名的抗日保台志士。甲午战争失败后.日寇侵略台湾,他率领义军“抗倭守土”,浴血奋战二十余昼夜,最后因弹尽粮绝被迫内渡,回到祖居地蕉岭,仍念念不忘收复台湾。他又是一位杰出的爱国诗人,梁启超称其为“诗界革命之巨子”。其创作的诗歌据说有万首之多,收集在《岭云海月楼诗抄》、《柏庄诗草》等集子里。其作品洋溢着高昂的爱国热情。 Qiu Fengjia (1864-1912), the word Xiangen, also known as warehouse sea, ancestral home Jiaoling County, Guangdong Province, was born in Miaoli County, Taiwan Province, is famous in modern history anti-Japanese security patriots.
