随着铁路运输日益增长的需要,世界各国对弹性牵引齿轮的研制和应用日趋广泛。在牵引电机轴托式悬挂的传动装置中,如采用弹性牵引齿轮,对改善牵引齿轮间的偏载,降低齿根应力,缓和来自线路的动力冲击,改善牵引电机的换向质量及工作条件,减少由于齿轮的制造和装配误差所引起的动力负荷等均是有益的。因此,使用弹性齿轮是提高机车走行部可靠性和耐久性的重要措施之一。橡胶弹性牵引齿轮在英国、法国、苏联、日本等国家均有正式装车使用。其中,英国和日本的经验比较丰富;在日本,对此已进行了不少试验研究工作,故其应用亦更为广泛。现就日本关于防振橡胶弹性牵引齿轮的有关情况,扼要介绍如下,以供设计和研究者参考。
