阶段一:种子筛选中国农科院作物科学所航天育种中心主任刘录祥研究员说,良种在农业增产中举足轻重,其作用达30%左右。航天育种就是航天技术与农业育种技术、生物技术相结合的产物,是综合了宇航、遗传、辐射、育种等跨学科的高新技术。“种子筛选是航天育种的第一步,这一程序非常严格,需要专业技术。带上太空的种子必须是遗传性稳定、综合性状好的种子,这样才能保证太空育种的意义。”刘录祥研究员告诉记者,“在把筛选出的种子带上太空之前,研究人员还要在地面留下相关对照,之后,与从太空带回来的种子同时种植,平行进行,这样才能进行外观、抗病等不同性状的对比。”
