游戏作为人的一种活动,既悠久又普遍。有谁没有做过游戏?有谁不熟悉游戏?然而,谁又会认为游戏是通往自由解放与文明进步的桥梁呢?说实话,笔者以前一直不觉得游戏这种活动有何重要,总以为那主要是儿童的事情,即使成年人有时也玩玩,那也不过是严肃活动之余的轻松和消遣。然而,有两本书,使我对游戏刮目相看。一本是德国诗人与哲学家席勒的《审美教育书简》,另一本则是荷兰文化史学家胡伊青加的《人:游戏者》。 Games as a human activity, both long and popular. One was the “Book of Aesthetic Education” by German poet Schiller and philosopher Schiller, and the other was “Man: The Gamer” by Dutch cultural historian Hu Yiqing.
